WebUbc geog offers three streams for undergrad. You have GEOB which is a BSc so it's mainly physical geography. You then have the GEOG which is a BA, mostly human geography. The prof (David McArthur) is a bit of a hardass, but the knowledge I learned has been invaluable and will serve me well for the rest of my life. WebI agree with what's already been said - 217 and 218 are really the only 200-level psych courses that matter for your major, so definitely take some 300-level courses next year so you can start checking off the behavioural, cognitive, clinical/health, developmental, foundations/psychometrics, and social/personality requirements.

WebThe answer will depend on whether you've taken much geography or environmental studies type classes. It's a very broad introductory course and covers a lot of things without much depth. I found it boring but classmates who weren't in geog said they liked it.
