WebJun 1, 2024 · This led me to try to add ipmb_ssif.addr=0x10 ipmi_ssif.adapter=bcm2835 ipmi_ssif.dbg=1,2,4,8 ipmi_ssif.dbg_probe=1 to the kernel command line. However, I didn't specify anything for ipmi_ssif.slave_addrs, ipmi_ssif.tryacpi, or ipmi_ssif.trydmi which admittedly could be my problem. I don't know if it could also be just something with the ... WebIf you have a standard interface and the board manufacturer has done their job correctly, the IPMI controller should be automatically detected (via ACPI or SMBIOS tables) and should just work. Sadly, many boards do not have this information. The driver attempts standard defaults, but they may not work.

System boots to windows perfectly fine. The combination of start and reset buttons on the mobo, used to start the system doesn't seem to be the same every time.
